I just want to thank the powers that be for making congressman to wait in line like the rest of us. They never have to pay the consequences for their horrible decisions. Fund DHS, all of it!!!!

DeleteRecently I was flying Delta from Phoenix to Seattle. Anyone with experience in the Pacific Northwest knows that snow and Seattle do not mix operationally. Anyway, it snowed and 9 Delta flights were diverted to Salt Lake City, dropping at least 1000 irritated passengers on unsuspecting airport employees. While the lines for help were long, Delta handled this better than I had expected. While waiting in long lines, surrounded by angry complainers, they brought snacks and refreshments for everyone. When I finally got to the help counter, they found me a seat out to Seattle the next morning, put me up in a nice hotel, provided a shuttle and even dinner. You never know the true character of a company if everything goes great. It’s when things go wrong that you truly see their quality. Delta made lemonade out of lemons and reinforced my reasoning for their airline to be my primary choice. Kudos to their team and how they handled a difficult situation. Way to go! Thanks for getting me home safely.
